Pioneer to launch EM corporate bond fund

Pioneer Investments is gearing up to add an Emerging Market Corporate Bond fund to its product range by the end of the month.

The fund launch is planned for around 21 January, the group said, and will be an addition to its EM suite of products, managed by the London based team. Pioneer's EM investment hub was set up in November 2011 when the firm hired Mauro Ratto, formerly head of investments for Europe and Asia, as head of emerging markets in the London office. The firm has been building up this capability over the past year, appointing five investment professionals to the team last April.
