Bailie leaves AXA IM to head up distribution at Pioneer

Jon Bailie has joined Pioneer Investments to head up distribution efforts in Western Europe and Latin America.

Bailie (pictured) will join the firm's London office in April, reporting to Sandro Pierri, chief executive of Pioneer. Pierri holds this position in the interim, following his appointment as chief executive last year. Bailie was previously at AXA Investment Managers where he held the position of global head of distribution. Chief executive Dominique Carrel-Billiard has taken over his position in the interim.
