Sanlam Private Investments (SPI) has added a high income fund to the group's discretionary range, which will aim to generate a 5% yield on an annualised basis.
The fund will invest in a range of ‘conservative' equity income unit trusts and investment trusts, holding up to 75% of the portfolio in equities. SPI said the new offering is aimed at investors who have a balanced attitude to risk, with the fund also giving exposure to fixed interest and cash.
