Threadneedle has handed its UK Overseas Earnings fund to Blake Hutchins as Richard Colwell steps back from managing the portfolio.
Hutchins took over as manager of the £107m fund at the start of this month, bringing to an end Colwell's spell in charge, which began in January 2010 when he joined Threadneedle from Aviva Investors. The move represents the first time Hutchins has been handed a retail portfolio of his own at the group. "The strategy and performance target of the fund are similar to the institutional mandates that he runs.
