UBS Asset Management is to become the latest group to boost its passive fund offering in the UK, as it launches the first product in a new range for retail investors.
The first vehicle will be a UK fixed income fund slated for launch in early Q2, subject to internal and regulatory approval. UBS said the move to bring its existing passive strategies to retail investors in the UK is in response to demand from clients.
