IT veteran McDougall to step down from Law Debenture trust

Investment trust veteran Douglas McDougall will step down as chairman of James Henderson's Law Debenture trust in April after 15 years of service.

McDougall (pictured), who retired as a senior partner at Baillie Gifford in 1999, has been a board member of the trust since 1988 before he was appointed chairman of the trust in 2000. He sits on a number of investment trust boards, also chairing the Independent investment trust and Foreign & Colonial Euro trust. He is also a director of Scottish investment trust, Monks, Pacific Horizon and Herald investment trust.
