Two of Pictet's emerging markets team, including Russia fund manager Peter Jarvis, have left Pictet Asset Management(PAM), Investment Week can reveal.
Jarvis, who joined Pictet in 2006 and co-managed the Pictet Russian Equities portfolio with Hugo Bain, also co-ran the Pictet Emerging Markets fund. Meanwhile Isabelle Alexander, who joined Pictet in 2004 as a global emerging markets (GEM) analyst and has been managing the Latin American portion of the GEM funds since 2006, has also left the group. The departures from the EM equities team mean Klaus Bockstaller, lead manager for the Pictet Emerging Markets fund, will co-manage the Russian fund with Bain.
