Research and investment house GaveKal Investments has launched a new fund for sophisticated investors that targets capital growth by moving long and short of equity market indices.
The GaveKal Dynamic Futures fund, an Ireland-domiciled UCITS IV vehicle run by Jean-Yves Dumont, invests in global equity index futures using a trend-based quantitative process. GaveKal was founded in 2001 by Charles Gave, Anatole Kaletsky (pictured) and Louis-Vincent Gave as a research house, but is expanding further into investment management with the launch of the new fund.
