OMGI streamlines fund range

Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) has streamlined its Dublin-domiciled fund range, one year on from unifying its two asset management businesses.

The firm has merged four funds from its offshore Skandia Global Funds range, re-launching the vehicles in the process. The Skandia US All Cap Value and Skandia US Value funds have merged into the Old Mutual US Dividend fund, which will be run by its US-based affiliate company Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss (BHMS). Also merging are the Skandia European Equity and Skandia European Opportunities funds, which will be renamed the Old Mutual European Equity fund and managed by Kevin Lilley.
