The Outstanding British Companies powering Unicorn's all-cap fund

UK businesses from across the cap scale are still flourishing despite the struggling macroeconomic environment, according to Chris Hutchinson, co-manager of the Unicorn Outstanding British Companies fund.

Hutchinson (pictured), who runs the portfolio with John McClure, noted all 16 of the fund's holdings that had reported quarterly figures by the middle of April produced resilient results. "All 16 reported topline growth and earnings growth, and all 16 increased their dividend payout," the manager said. These businesses stretch across the cap spectrum; Outstanding British Companies has 22% of its portfolio in FTSE 100 firms and 52% in the FTSE 250, with the remainder in small-cap and AIM stocks.
