US-based Janus Capital has replaced the manager of its US Twenty fund Ron Sachs, who will exit the group this month.
Sachs' $8.5bn fund has been running since 1985 in the US, with a version available to UK investors. It is run as a concentrated portfolio of between 20 and 30 stocks. Sachs has been replaced by Marc Pinto, a Janus veteran who has worked at the firm for 19 years. Pinto already runs a number of funds including the Janus Large Cap Growth, Opportunistic Growth and Growth & Income strategies.
