Legal & General Investment Management hired Emiel van den Heiligenberg from BNP Paribas Investment Partners as its head of asset allocation.
Heiligenberg (pictured) replaces David North, who left his role as head of asset allocation at the group earlier this year after 12 years of service. Heiligenberg, who was CIO of BNP Paribas' multi-asset division, will head up LGIM's asset allocation team of global economists, macro strategists and portfolio managers.
