Aubrey to roll out EU equity fund on hopes of strong 2013

Aubrey Capital Partners is set to launch a high conviction EU equity fund with "quiet confidence" 2013 will be a strong year for the region's markets.

The Fondaco Lux EU Conviction Equities fund is run by lead manager Sharon Bentley-Hamlyn alongside investment managers Andrew Dalrymple and Lynne Thornton, and has existed as an institutional mandate since 2008. The fund has returned a cumulative 115% over the last four years, compared to the 87.1% return from the MSCI Daily Net TR Europe Euro index, according to the group. Aubrey is now planning to launch the vehicle in a Luxembourg UCITS structure and roll it out to retail clients.
