Baring Asset Management (Barings) has revamped its emerging market equity team, hiring a new head to replace outgoing Roberto Lampl.
Staffan Lindfeldt has joined the firm from Handelsbanken Asset Management to head up the group's emerging market desk. He will lead a number of the group's global emerging market portfolios, reporting to Tim Scholefield, head of equities at Barings. Lampl, formerly head of emerging market equities at Barings, has exited the firm to pursue new opportunities, having joined the group in March 2010.
