Aviva's Onuekwusi joins L&G

Justin Onuekwusi, former lead manager on Aviva Investors' multi-asset funds, is to join Legal & General.

Onuekwusi (pictured) left Aviva Investors earlier this month, having joined the company in 2010 and managed the five funds in its multi-asset range. His role at L&G has not been revealed at this stage, but the group already has some capabilities in multi-asset investing. It currently runs three funds in the IMA Mixed Investment sector - the £101m L&G Worldwide, the £43.8m Distribution and the £31.7m Global Growth funds, managed by Kevin Chessum, who has been at the group for over three decades.
