Threadneedle has launched a Dynamic Real Return fund for head of multi-asset Toby Nangle, aiming to deliver equity-like returns with no more than two-thirds of the volatility.
The long-only, unleveraged fund will invest across asset classes including equities, fixed income, commodities, property and alternative investments. Targeting equity-like returns - broadly defined as CPI +4% - over a three- to five-year timeframe, the fund will be managed by Nangle (pictured) with the support of head of managed funds Alex Lyle and Threadneedle's Asset Allocation Strategy group.
