Polar Capital hires ex-AXA healthcare manager Donnigan

Polar Capital has hired Deane Donnigan and David Pinniger to work within its healthcare team in an effort to increase the range of the group's products in this area.

Donnigan, who previously worked at AXA Investment Managers, has joined the team after taking time out in the US. She has been involved with Polar's healthcare franchise since the start of the year, covering for Anna Sizova, who was on maternity leave, but has now been hired full time. Donnigan built up her reputation while at AXA Investment Managers, managing the Framlington Healthcare and Biotechnology funds in the UK.
