Andrew Thomas, head of product development at Legal & General Investments, has left the firm to pursue a new opportunity in the industry.
Thomas, who joined L&G Investments in 2010 from Invesco Perpetual, has left following a strategic review into the business from the group's new head of investments Simon Pistell. Pistell, became managing director of L&G's unit trust business in January, replacing Simon Ellis, who also left following the group's restructure. Last October sales head Frank McGarry also left the business as part of the revamp. A spokesperson for the group confirmed Thomas will leave the firm at the end of June.
