BlackRock has promoted Stefan Gries to co-manager of its European Absolute Alpha fund alongside Vincent Devlin.
Gries is currently a director and research analyst on the European equity team within the alpha strategies group. He joined BlackRock in 2008, having previously spent two years at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership alongside Devlin (pictured). Devlin is responsible for European long/short and continental European portfolios at BlackRock and has been running European Absolute Alpha since its inception in March 2009.
