Canaccord Genuity appoints Eden's Massey as head of UK wealth arm

Stephen Massey has been appointed head of UK wealth management at Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management following the takeover of Eden Financial.

Canaccord Genuity, which bought Collins Stewart Wealth Management in 2011, acquired the wealth management arm of boutique Eden Financial back in September 2012. Massey (pictured) was executive chairman at Eden Financial and remained on the board of Collins Stewart following the takeover. Parent company Canaccord Financial rebranded its UK wealth management arm, Collins Stewart, in May this year to bring its global wealth management operations under one name.
