Janus poaches Premier's Glendon

Janus Capital has poached Premier's Alan Glendon to become sales director for UK financial institutions.

Glendon, who was head of UK discretionary sales at Premier, will have responsibility for building the firm's presence in the London wholesale space as part of his new role. Glendon (pictured) will report directly to Nigel Austin, the firm's chief operating officer covering the UK and EMEA. A well known figure in the industry, Glendon has had a long career at a variety of firms, including F&C Asset Management and Investec Asset Management.
