Schroders creates sales team to serve institutions

Schroders has created a new sales and marketing team designed to boost its relationships with financial institutions in the UK.

The UK financial institutions and strategic accounts team will serve banks, insurance companies, national IFA firms, platforms and wraps within the home market. James Rainbow, currently head of UK marketing at the group, will lead the new team. In September he will hand over his current responsibilities to Peter Beckett, head of international marketing at Schroders. Rainbow will report to Robin Stoakley (pictured), managing director of UK intermediary at the firm. He will be supported by Ross Mackinnon, Jon Simmons and Paul Hazeldine.
