Ex-Skandia marketing head Dixon to join Aegon

Former Skandia marketing head Nick Dixon is to join Aegon UK as investment director, Investment Week understands.

Dixon (pictured) was a casualty of Skandia's round of job cuts in October following its merger with Old Mutual, which saw 200 members of staff depart. Joining in 2002, he initially took up the role of strategy director, before moving to become marketing director in 2007. Dixon will spearhead Aegon's investment capabilities in his new role. Aegon launched its Retirement Choices (ARC) platform last summer in a bid to capture part of the lucrative auto-enrolment market business.
