UK income manager Mogford exits Neptune

Emma Mogford, manager of the £2.2m Neptune UK Higher Income Fund, has left the company.

George Boyd-Bowman, manager of the Neptune Global Income Fund has taken over management of UK Higher Income, an equity and bond offering. Boyd-Bowman will be supported on the UK Higher Income Fund by Ian Sealey, manager of the multi-asset Neptune Cautious Managed Fund. "Neptune wishes Emma well in her future career," the company said in a statement. The Neptune Global Income Fund returned 17.6% in the year to 26 July, compared with an IMA UK Equity and Bond Income sector average of 20.2%, according to Morningstar.
