Aviva Investors poaches Barings manager for Euro high yield team

Aviva Investors has hired Sunita Kara from Baring Asset Management as portfolio manager for European high yield.

At Barings, Kara was global high yield portfolio manager. She has also worked for Standard & Poor's as senior credit analyst and at HM Treasury as an economic analyst. In her new role she will be based in London reporting to Todd Youngberg, head of high yield investments. Her appointment follows the recent hires of Blake Huyne and Patrick Goff to the high yield team in Chicago as senior research analysts, as the group looks to expand its capabilities in the asset class.
