Artemis appoints head of product development

Alan Gadd has joined Artemis as head of product and distribution development as the group further expands its distribution capabilities.

Gadd, whose previous roles include head of UK and Ireland at Allfunds Bank, will be responsible for developing Artemis' response to the changing distribution landscape post-RDR. He will also examine how to extend Artemis' offering to clients and review overseas opportunities. Gadd will report to Artemis head of asset gathering Dick Turpin and begins the new role today (27 August). The hire follows the appointment of Richard Pursglove as head of UK retail at the group.
