Three key trades Invesco's multi-asset team is backing

Invesco Perpetual has revealed some of the top trades running within its Global Targeted Returns Fund, run by former members of Standard Life Investments' GARS team.

The multi-asset product - run by David Millar and colleagues who moved over to Invesco from SLI - has launched with 22 investment ideas which will guide the team's process. "There are 22 individual ideas across asset types, and it is possible to have two different asset classes in one type of idea," Millar, head of multi-asset at Invesco Perpetual, said. "Investing in ideas captures the philosophy of the fund which is bringing ideas together to deliver consistent returns over three year periods, whatever the economic climate," he added.
