The ten most and least volatile global funds of last 12 months

Harwood Multi Manager has revealed the ten most and least volatile funds in the IMA Global Sector over the past 12 months, amid renewed investor interest in the sector.

Net retail sales in July totalled £226m, making it the third best-selling sector, according to the IMA. This figure is well above the monthly average over the previous 12 months, at just £47m, and close to the £291m that was attracted by the best-selling sector, Mixed Investments 20%-60% Shares. However, it is difficult for investors to choose the right funds to invest in, because the sector includes as many as 238 funds, all with very different investment styles and return profiles.
