Man Group has appointed Neil Mason as senior managing director tasked with leading GLG's multi-strategy portfolios.
He will report to Luke Ellis, president of Man Group. Mason joins Man from Harvard Management Company, where he was chief risk officer. Prior to this, he was CIO at FRM Capital Advisors where he helped to establish its investment process and seeding activities. Before joining FCA, Neil was CEO of BlueCrest, and has also held a variety of senior roles at Bank of America and J.P. Morgan.
