Canaccord Genuity appoints head of wealth planning

Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management has appointed Chris Albert to the newly-created role of head of wealth planning for its UK business.

Albert has 22 years of industry experience and has worked for the firm since 2011. He is currently head of wealth advisory for CGWM's 360 Service, a wealth management model which includes advice, investment management and tax and financial planning. Albert will continue with this role in addition to his new responsibilities and all the firm's wealth planning professionals will report to him. Parent company Canaccord Financial rebranded its UK wealth management arm, Collins Stewart, in May this year to bring its global wealth management operations under one name. Stephen Massey (...
