Guinness hires King to boost EIS team

Guinness Asset Management has appointed Malcolm King as investment manager on the Guinness EIS team.

King (pictured) took on the role at the beginning of October, tasked with assisting members of the EIS team in appraising investments. He will work alongside Shane Gallwey, fund manager on the EIS team; Edward Guinness, co-manager of the Guinness Alternative Energy fund; and Hugo Vaux, analyst for the EIS team. Prior to his role at Guinness, King worked for the Carbon Trust and its subsidiary CT Investment Partners (now 350 Investment Partners) as an investment associate initially, from 2008.
