Miton is to offer its fund managers shares in the company in an effort to keep hold of top performers.
In a note to shareholders today, the group said the plans followed a review of the firm's incentive arrangements. "The success of the group depends on its ability to retain, attract and motivate high quality individuals," it said. "As a result of this review, the board has decided it would be appropriate to introduce a new retention and incentive arrangement for fund managers. The plan will allow participants to share in the growth of the relevant profit and assets under management for which they are responsible."
