Kames CEO Davis: I would like us to be better at multi-asset

Martin Davis, newly appointed chief executive of Kames Capital, has identified multi-asset as one of the key areas of focus for product development in the coming year.

The new head of the business told Investment Week of his plans for product development and broadening the fund range out from its current focus on fixed income. "I would like us to be better at multi-asset," Davis (pictured) said. "We are not using our global capability enough to widen our multi-asset offering, this is one gap in the product range we must look at." One of the options under consideration is using the capabilities of the multi-asset investment team to provide 'end-to-end' solutions for clients.
