S&W appoints Morgan Stanley's Pagliari as partner

Smith & Williamson has appointed Morgan Stanley's Michael Pagliari as investment management partner, its fourth hire in the investment management division in the last two months.

In his new role, Pagliari will manage funds for private clients and act as a trusted adviser to family offices and other bodies in the ultra-high net worth sector. Pagliari worked at Morgan Stanley for 27 years, where he was an executive director since 2006, managing multi-asset class team advising private clients. In his earlier years at Morgan Stanley, Pagliari specialised in fixed interest and related products for institutional clients.
