Albemarle's 12 alternative income funds for 2014

Since the news Neil Woodford is leaving Invesco Perpetual next year, investors have been prompted to review their asset allocation in the equity income space.

Albemarle Street Partners has put together a list of funds for investors looking to switch based on its ‘Alpha Quest' screening tool. The tool, launched this year, aims to predict a manager's ability to deliver alpha in the future by separating a fund's performance into index beta and the returns above it. All the funds on the buy list must have at least a 60% probability of delivering alpha over the next 12 months.
