Isaacs gets co-manager on £1.3bn M&G bond fund

M&G has appointed James Tomlins as co-manager of its £1.3bn High Yield Corporate Bond fund with immediate effect.

Working alongside existing manager Stefan Isaacs (pictured), Tomlins' promotion reflects the latest step up for a manager who began running M&G's £123m European High Yield Bond fund in December 2011. Jim Leaviss, M&G head of retail fixed interest, said the addition of Tomlins was necessitated by the evolution of Isaacs' portfolio. "The M&G High Yield Corporate Bond fund has evolved into a global proposition, requiring greater investment resource to cover the larger investable universe," he said.
