J.P. Morgan Asset Management has introduced individual lead managers on three UK equity funds previously run by a single team.
Ian Butler, Thomas Buckingham (pictured) and Ben Stapley - who previously ran the funds together - will now each take control of a single fund, with the other two managers as deputies. Butler has become lead manager on the £140m UK Strategic Equity Income fund, with Buckingham as lead on the £302m UK Higher Income fund and Stapley running the £283m UK Strategic Growth fund. JPMAM has also made changes to three European SICAV funds, with the trio each co-managing a fund with Michael Barakos.
