SVM hires deputies for Veitch and Cuthbert

SVM Asset Management has promoted two investment analysts to deputy managers to assist Neil Veitch and Hugh Cuthbert on the management of their flagship funds.

Craig Jeruzal has been promoted from his role as UK investment analyst to support Veitch (pictured) as deputy manager on the £108m SVM UK Opportunities fund. Meanwhile Alasdair Birch, formerly European investment analyst, has been promoted to deputy manager on the £17m SVM Continental Europe fund, managed by Cuthbert. He joined SVM in 2012 from BNP Paribas Investment Partners, where he was a portfolio manager within the European mid and small cap team.
