How competitive is Fidelity's new D2C pricing?

Fidelity has launched its own new-look pricing structure as it moves to wrestle control of the D2C market from Hargreaves Lansdown, but how does its pricing compare?

The move, which will see Fidelity charge an AMC of 35bps for investors with up to £250k in assets, has been labelled a win for the business, given it undercuts Hargreaves Lansdown's 45bps charge. Mark Polson, platform expert and principal of the lang cat consultancy business, said the group had achieved its principal aim of overhauling Hargreaves' own offering.
