Update: Weldon and Moore quit Threadneedle for Artemis

Threadneedle head of US equities Cormac Weldon and fellow team member Stephen Moore are to join Artemis to launch a US equities franchise.

Artemis senior partner Mark Tyndall said the pair will join Artemis later this year, marking a further expansion of the fund house's offering. "Cormac and Stephen will allow us to add North American equities to our range for the first time," he said. Along with Weldon and Moore, five US equity analysts have also left Threadneedle. The group's Diane Sobin will take over Weldon's role as head of US equities as of April 2014, following a "full transition" of his responsibilities.
