Dobell's M&G Recovery joins Bestinvest 'dog list'

Three M&G funds including Tom Dobell's giant Recovery fund have been added to Bestinvest's 'dog list', making up more than half of all assets listed.

The wealth managers' ‘Spot the Dog' list names investment funds that have underperformed their benchmark by 10% or more for three consecutive years. Dobell (pictured)'s £7bn M&G Recovery was the worst M&G fund in the list, returning 17.7% over three years to 10 January, compared to a sector average of 36.5%, according to Morningstar.
