John Duffield has hired former colleague Mark Skinner as an adviser to develop Brompton Asset Management's retail business.
Skinner was a former director of retail sales and marketing at New Star before the firm's collapse. Brompton senior partner John Duffield said he is "very pleased to be working again with [Skinner]", having spent a decade together at New Star. Duffield, formerly chief executive at New Star, set up Brompton in 2009 and is now beginning to target the retail market once more. Following on from his role at New Star, Skinner was head of pan-European distribution at Henderson between 2009 and 2012.
