FE to take stake in Romer-Lee's Square Mile consultancy

Data provider and ratings service FE plans to take a minority stake in Richard Romer-Lee's Square Mile Investment Research as the two companies launch a strategic partnership.

FE will take a minority, non-controlling stake in Square Mile "in due course" as part of an agreement which will give the consultancy access to FE's quantitative data. Accordingly, Square Mile's own ratings service, due to launch at the end of Q2 or start of Q3, will see its fund factsheets incorporate elements of FE's own crown ratings system. FE factsheets, in turn, will feature Square Mile fund ratings as of that point.
