Allianz launches low-cost share class for global small cap fund

Allianz Global Investors has introduced a new sterling share class on its Global Small Cap Equity fund with a lower annual management charge.

The new share class, which launched at the start of this week, is priced at 60bps, with an ongoing charge figure (OCF) of 85bps. The group already had a sterling share class for the fund with an AMC of 88bps, but the new share class is more competitively priced for the new lower cost environment in the UK market. The fund, managed by Andrew Neville (pictured), is currently just over $1bn (£600m) in size and has capacity up to $3bn.
