The manager of the Allianz RCM Technology trust is looking to the burgeoning mobile advertising market to help the new generation of tech companies boost revenues this year and beyond.
Walter Price (pictured), manager of the £150m trust, said mobile advertising revenues could soar in the coming years as advertisers try to reach a new generation of consumers. The manager, whose trust cut fees earlier this month after a stellar 2013, is backing companies such as Facebook to capitalise on the move. "Just 1% of advertisers' budgets are spent on phones. That will be 5%-15% in the next five years, which will lead to very high growth rates for companies participating in this trend," he said.
