Edward Bonham Carter has today officially handed the CEO role at Jupiter Fund Management to Maarten Slendebroek.
The handover was first announced on 9 December 2013, and today distribution and strategy director Slendebroek assumes his position at the helm of the asset manager. Bonham Carter (pictured) remains on the board and will take on a new executive role as vice chairman, reporting to Slendebroek. Bonham Carter has led Jupiter through eventful market environments, and was behind its successful IPO in June 2010, which was more than two times oversubscribed.
