PSigma deal offers boost to Miton as AUM hits £3bn

Miton has seen assets under management grow to £3bn mark in the year to 31 December following inflows and the acquisition of PSigma Asset Management.

In its full-year results, released today, the firm said the acquisition of PSigma AM generated £749m in new assets, while net inflows added £351m, taking total AUM from £1.8bn to £3.1bn. The figure is in line with the group's estimates for total AUM at the time of the £13m deal to acquire PSigma last summer. The acquisition meant PSigma's star managers including Bill Mott joined Miton's senior investors such as managing director Gervais Williams (pictured) and Martin Gray.  Particularly strong inflows were seen into Williams' UK Multi-Cap Income fund, which grew from £49m to £370m in ...
