Lazard Asset Management has renamed its top performing UK income fund, run by Alan Custis and Alan Clifford.
The group's £101m UK Equity Income fund has been renamed the Lazard Multi-Cap UK Income Fund to reflect its multi-cap approach: the fund has around 40% of its portfolio invested outside the FTSE 100. The fund, which looks for a dual combination of growth and income from the majority of its investments, is one of the top performers in the sector over the five years to 28 March, returning 132% vs the sector average of 120%, according to Morningstar.
