Old Mutual reviews Henderson and Intrinsic fund deal

Old Mutual is reviewing Intrinsic's risk-rated Cirilium proposition in a move which could see it take over the range from Henderson.

Old Mutual acquired adviser firm Intrinsic in February to boost its distribution capabilities, with 3,000 advisers moving to join the group as part of the deal. The Cirilium fund range was established in 2008 as a joint venture with New Star Asset Management, with Henderson taking over the portfolios in 2009. Old Mutual separately launched its WealthSelect fund range earlier this year, which offers a free risk-rated model potfolio service intended to compete with DFMs. A spokesperson for Old Mutual said: "No changes are being made to the Cirilium proposition at this stage.
