Barings has appointed emerging markets specialist Jean-Louis Scandella as head of equities.
Scandella joins from French equity boutique Comgest which offers a suite of emerging and developed equity products similar to Barings. At Comgest he worked as a emerging market portfolio manager and sat on the leadership team. He will join the group on 2 June, reporting to chief investment officer Marino Valensise (pictured).
